Jewelry is the hardest thing to buy for someone else. Metal, stone, setting, size — a piece can be beautiful, expensive, and still not something they would put on. The usual answer is to ask, which costs you the surprise, or to guess, which costs you the piece.

So we split the job in two. Your partner spends two minutes on a deck of real pieces, marking the ones they would actually wear. That builds a taste map — their metals, their stones, the shapes they keep choosing, roughly what they spend. You browse the same catalog everyone else does, except every shelf is ranked by that map. You still choose the piece, and the moment.

What your partner does not see

They see the taste map they built, and they can change it whenever they like. What they never see is the receipt: we do not learn what you bought or when, because you check out on the retailer's site rather than here. No notification, and no tick against the piece they marked. The surprise is the point; keeping it is a feature, not an oversight. The privacy policy sets out exactly what each of you can see.

How we make money

We are an affiliate site. When you buy through a link here, the retailer pays us a commission at no extra cost to you — the price is the price you would pay going direct. We do not sell the jewelry ourselves and we never take a payment: checkout happens on the retailer's own site, so your card details never reach us. That commission is what keeps the taste map, the hint boards and the partner linking free to use.
